About DTS

The Department of Technology Solutions (DTS) reports to the University of Tennessee Chief Financial Officer.  The Chief Information Officer leads the office’s teams, which are organized around these key responsibilities:

• Enterprise Applications including IRIS
• Infrastructure and Security
• DTS Administration

Enterprise Resource Planning Software

The Department of Technology Solutions also includes three ERPs: IRIS, Alumni/Development, and Research:

IRIS (Integrated R3 Information System) is the University branded ERP system providing financial, human resource, payroll, procurement, and budgeting functionality across all campuses and institutes.

ANDI provides support to the UT Foundation in its mission of alumni engagement, financial stewardship, and private gift support.

Cayuse SP and 424 support the business of preparing and submitting federal grant proposals through the Office of Research and Economic Development.

The University is preparing to replace IRIS with a new, cloud-based ERP system in July 2024.
